Children are our future and in order for them to be successful, they need parents/caregivers with the capacity, skills and ability to support them. That’s why parenting resources, education and community building being offered by American SPCC are so vital.
For more than a decade, American Society for the Positive Care of Children (ASPCC) has provided families with the tools and resources they need to break cycles of trauma, build positive parenting skills, and help children thrive. We are here to help parents and let them know they are not alone in their struggles, however, this continued work requires the support of donors.
Donations are Crucial to Support Our Work
As a nonprofit, we provide parents with the skills, tools, and resources needed to help build their confidence and capacity as caregivers, while strengthening family bonds, and we never charge families a penny. Parenting is a tough job and we all need help from time to time. Additionally, in many cases, adults were not positively parented themselves so the work of effective parenting and raising successful, secure and confident adults is tricky if you aren’t equipped and empowered with the proper tools and knowledge.
This is where the American SPCC comes in with our Parenting Resources.
Last year alone, we served over 750,000 caregivers through our Parenting Resource Center, and 83% of people who visit our resource center return for additional support. Therefore it is essential that we have consistent donations to continue to provide this valuable program.
An Investment in Families is an Investment in Our Future
Each week, American SPCC is empowering thousands of families and caregivers to build brighter futures for our youth. This continued work is critical t but cannot continue without donations and ongoing partnerships to ensure that we can offer these life-changing resources without cost to our families. Your support helps provide free, trusted resources where and when families need them most.
Please consider making an impact and contributing to an ongoing positive generational cycle that is empowering every child to reach their infinite potential, and will hopefully continue for generations to come.
Big Changes Always Start Small
We believe that small steps — from individuals, families, leaders and organizations — will help us achieve these ambitious goals.
