She has over 22 years experience in the field of education, with a background in teaching, student services, and educational sales. She is passionate about change management and believes leaders should view organizations from a systems (or holistic) perspective.

She is delighted to be a part of the American SPCC and hopes to be a good role model for her young three children for activism through education.

“Volunteering for the American SPCC has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life! I have three children, work full-time, and attend graduate school. With all of that going on, it would have been easy to “take a pass” on getting involved. However, a couple of years ago, I volunteered to help coordinate an anti-bullying campaign at my kids’ school, and it was a meaningful, rewarding project. A wise person once said, “Education is not the filling of a bucket, but the lighting of a fire.” If we can each kindle even a tiny flame, those small projects will add up to a huge light that will guide future generations to a better life.

I encourage you to get involved to make a difference for our children. It’s a decision I know you won’t regret!”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
