SUCCESSFUL SURVIVOR

SUCCESSFUL SURVIVOR

I feel that the story of my life could help so many others. I was a teen with no family, no husband, no high school education, and on public assistance after having a child at 16, one at 19, then one at 21.  I put myself through college and became a RN. I am now a successful Director of Nursing.  My 3 children are 26, 23, and 20 and all are doing very well and living very productive and successful lives.
I went through some very difficult trials and tribulations throughout my life.  I wish I would have known someone when I was young and alone with 3 small children that could have told me, showed me, or helped me.
There is a way.  Even if you feel you have nothing and no one.
I feel that the success of my life and all the things I do to help the disabled/very ill children and people at work every day, can show others that they too can be anything they want to be. If I can do it so can they.
