My youngest of 4, my little girl, she loves to draw. She is at the age where she is judging her skills and I am not sure why this happened. She often gets frustrated and says what she draws or paints is ugly and not good enough. I am not sure where she got these ideas in her head. I want to inspire her to keep going because having a creative outlet is a wonderful thing. How can I keep her inspired and wanting to keep drawing and painting? She has loved both since she was 3.

I think she may be at the age where she is starting to compare what she does to what other people do. She might have noticed someone older being able to draw and paint things she just can’t figure out. You can show her beginner’s lessons online for free, YouTube has some for kids. They can be helpful in showing her and encouraging her if she is willing to learn.
