Recently I noticed my daughter has joined a new group of friends. They’re all nice girls individually, but I feel like being in a somewhat “popular” group, this has gotten to their heads. As a group they can be much more snide and rude towards other kids, mainly because as a group they feel more confident.

How would one go advising these girls against it? They’re all great girls to be fair.

You need to talk to your daughter and ask her if she really wants to be like that, make her see it from the victims point of view and ask her to advise her friends as well.

These girls definitely do tend to get feistier when they are in groups. I’m with sudugujubee, talk to your daughter and appeal to the human side of her, reflect to her how the victims would feel and what they may go through.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll try and talk to her about it
