American Family Day is observed on the First Sunday in August. It’s a perfect occasion to enjoy the waning summer days with those closest to us. American Family Day was specifically proclaimed to avoid gifts and instead to focus on spending quality time with one another. It’s a day for families to share their love and appreciation of one another.

Enjoy this day with your family or those closest to you! Spend the day outside playing games, have a picnic or a BBQ, or go for a family stroll. Visit grandparents, aunts, uncles  and cousins. It doesn’t matter what you do as long as you do it together!
