Mission Statement: The mission of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (American SPCC) is to expose the epidemic of child abuse and neglect through education, partnership and national visibility.

Vision Statement: In order to reduce the growing number of children who are impacted by abuse and neglect, the American SPCC will implement non-partisan, nationwide communication and educational programs, targeting the prevention of cruelty to children.
